Jobs At Aging Kingdom Homecare

CNA — Certified Nursing Assistant
A state-certified caregiver trained to provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, and eating. CNAs may also perform certain health-related tasks within their training and scope of practice and under appropriate supervision.
DSW — Direct Support Professional
A caregiver who provides direct assistance and support to individuals who need help maintaining independence and safety in their home or community. Duties may include personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, transportation/errands, and support with daily routines, depending on the individual’s care plan and the worker’s qualifications.
PSS — Personal Support Specialist
A Maine-specific direct-care credential for workers who assist individuals with personal care and activities of daily living. PSS duties commonly include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, meal assistance, and other routine personal-support services. A PSS generally provides non-clinical care rather than skilled nursing services.
HHA — Home Health Aide
A caregiver trained to provide personal care and supportive services in the home. HHAs commonly assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, nutrition, and other ADLs. In a licensed home health setting, an HHA may work under the supervision of a nurse or other healthcare professional and perform tasks permitted by the applicable care plan and regulations.
Care Coordinator
Manage client care plans, coordinate with healthcare providers, and ensure seamless delivery of services. Candidates should have strong organizational skills and experience in care management.

Earned Paid Leave
In accordance with Maine Department of Labor laws, all active full-time and part-time employees who have been employed by Aging Kingdom Homecare for more than 120 days are eligible to receive earned paid leave.
